It’s SWAC TIME!!……Can GSU and JSU break into win column on the road?……………..

OK, We are starting to pick up steam as we had into SWAC play as every team is playing a conference foe. The biggie is Jackson State invading Southern for their annual showdown. Coach Harold Jackson knows that heading into Baton Rouge could be a tough place to play on Saturday night. Sporting an 0-2 record doesn’t sit well with the Tiger Nation also. QB LaMontiez Ivy has been playing lights out. Ivy has pass for nearly 500 yards in 4 TD’s in leading the Tigers attack. WR Dan Williams has solidified himself as the Tiger’s number guy in the air with nearly 400 yards receiving and 2 TD’s. Southern University brings a 1-1 record with already a conference win at MVSU 50-13 last Thursday night. QB Austin Howard has been nearly perfect for the Jags with nearly 300 Yards of total offense. RB Leornard Tillary leads the ground attack while WR/KR Willie Quinn has become the apple of the Jags eye. From returning kicks and punts for TD’S on national T.V to throwing an 89 yard TD , Quinn has grabbed the national spot light earning FCS Special teams player of the week.
