Morning folks, been a minute. Well lets’ get right to it. This year’s NCAA MEN’S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT has had it’s share of high’s and low’s. Second seeds Mizzou and Duke bit the dust in round one sending off alarms throughout the basketball world that schools like Norfolk State and Lehigh have more than just academic programs on campus. Ohio University of the MAC conference has become the VCU of this years field. Ohio , which has become the darlings of the tournament have proven they belong by beating BIG 10 member MICHIGAN and BIG EAST member SOUTH FLORIDA to reach the sweet sixteen. As we head into this weekend’s action , starlworth’s like KENTUCKY , MICHIGAN STATE, and NORTH CAROLINA keep streaming wins as they try to punch their ticket to NEW ORLEANS while schools like BAYLOR, MARQUETTE, and CINNCINNATTI try to hold their own in the regionals and break through as well. My surprise team is N.C.STATE , which defeated Georgetown in a nail biter to advance as well. JIMMY V still lives as the WOLF PACK moves on. KANSAS on the other hand had to gut it out late against a tough PURDUE team which lead to entire game until the last 30 seconds and KANSAS ‘ Johnson took over and scored the last 4 POINTS AS THE jayhawks PREVAILED 63-60. Syracuse on the other hand is short handed inside as FAB MELO decided not to attend class so the NCAA decided not to let him play in the tournament. The Orangemen have gutted out two big wins and have a tough encounter with WISCONSIN on the horizon. All in all, this year’s tournament have given us hope for an exiting finish. My take is that KENTUCKY’S crop will harvest in New Orleans. However, I have been wrong before. What yall think……realsportsrealtalk!…………
