Morning folks , it’s been awhile but hey I am back. Okay, lets get right into it. NCAA basketball is winding down and now comes the fun. It’s MARCH MADNESS TIME and the fun begans. With conference tournements begining this week, many teams are jockeying for positions in the NCAA touranment while some teams are looking for that cinderella slipper to wear to the dance. There are also several teams jockeying to become the next VCU or BUTLER while mainstays like UNC , DUKE or even KENTUCKY try to pick up steam heading into the tourney. Teams such as UCONN , SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY , and GRAMBLING STATE are not particiapating in the post season due to low APR academic scores. UCONN unfortunaltely will not be able to defend its title from last year. However, they do welcome back veteran coach JIM CALHOUN who has beeb battling hip surgery that was a success. In my STEPHEN A. SMITH voice, here is my take on that national scene as we near MARCH MADNESS. KENTUCKY, UNC, KANSAS, and SYRACUSE have dominated all year long their respective conferences and they deserve number one seeds. However, there will be teams like MURRAY STATE who can duplicate what VCU did last year. Speaking of VCU , the RAMS seem to be picking up steam once again. The tourney brings the best out of a lot of teams. Other teams to watch out for include OHIO STATE, MIZZOU , BAYLOR, DUKE, WASHINGTON among others who can strike anytime during the tourney. During this touranment, we must remeber that records and prestiogoius conferences go out the window. Its all about 40 minutes of mistake free basketball. Will we find another FREDERICK JIMMER  during the tourney?,,Who knows …..But like T.O stated before…Get your Popcorn ready…….IT’S MARCH MADNESS TIME……..realsportsrealtalk!!!
