Morning folks….Well it looks like DAVID STERN still holds the upper hand. STERN has remained pat on the issues involved in the dispute especially on the 50-50 cut which the owners turned down. STERN also cancelled the first two weeks of the NBA season and it looks like more games will be cancelled in due time. DEREK FISHER and BILLY HUNTER have remained mute on this turn of events. FISHER basically is informing players to remain strong during the lockout. Many players have supported FISHER and his stance. However, many have began playing overseas to get a check. STERN’S idea is to force the players to cave in however, FISHER will stand strong. The NBA AGENTS ASSOICIATION has voiced thier opinions about breaking up the union will give the players more leverage like the NFL did. However, HUNTER and FISHER both disagreed. My take on this is that the only ones losing out is the FANS …..Many NBA teams have already began laying off workers and cutting salaries…Now we are in a recession. What do yall think real talk……..
