Morning folks and welcome aboard ! It seems to me that the economy is not only effecting the regular consumer but it is also effecting professional sports as well….Well sort of. With the 2011 NBA draft closely approaching in June, many college players are asking themselves , is it right now or will it be right later. The NBA is approaching a NFL like lockout soon. With the current CBA expiring June 30, it seems that the NBA owners and the NBAPA are sort of reluctant to solve this little crisis before the dealine. Many seniors have already been contacted by NBA teams and even participated in several pre-draft all star games. However, many top players are underclassmen and as of todate, only a few have announced their intentions of fore going their college careers to make themselves available for the draft. KYRIE IRVIN and KEMBA WLAKER just announced recently their intentions of leaving. However, many others such as Texas’ TRISTAN THOMPSON and OHIO STATE’S JARIED SULLINGER will remain in school. Many critics believe that this years draft will be weak if many of those underclassmen remain in school. However, with the CBA issue not settled as well as many others feeling that another year could help them in 2012 draft, it could be a huge bust for NBA and its executives. I really dont blame some of those players with their decisiondue to the fact that there remains some uncertainy in the league. The main issue here is working out a compromise that includes player’s benefits as well as a salary cap for incoming rookies and many more issues that ionvolve experienced players issues also. There are some good college seniors and a few underclassmen that has entered that could make the draft salvageable. Many critics also believe that the EURO players are not as strong as there were in the past also which could produce a doozy of a draft. What do yall think?…IS THE FUTURE OF THE NBA IN TROUBLE OR WHAT?…WHO WILLBENFIT?  TALK TO ME…..
